On April 7 and 8, 2025 marked the 25th anniversary of Brian’s legendary performances at the Roxy Theatre on the iconic Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, California. Over two unforgettable nights, Brian and his incredible band brought to life his ingenious arrangements and signature harmonies, performing nearly thirty songs – including timeless Beach Boys classics, four of Brian’s solo tracks, and his personal favorite, “Be My Baby.” The shows were recorded and later released as a live album, initially available exclusively on Brian’s website.

Twenty-five years ago on April 7 and 8 2000, I was in the Le Mobile remote truck parked behind the Roxy recording Brian’s Live at the Roxy album. For over two hours each night Brian and his fantastic band wowed the packed house with songs from his amazing career.  I hope you’ll enjoy these remixes of Brian’s favorite song “Be My Baby” and his 1987 anthem “Love and Mercy,” celebrating the album’s 25th anniversary.
