The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Presents Brian Wilson Celebrate Pet Sounds: The Final Performance featuring The Symphony Orchestra and Special Guests Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin May 7, 2018 in the Kennedy Center Concert Hall

(WASHINGTON)—The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is honored to welcome music icon and prior Kennedy Center Honoree Brian Wilson on May 7, 2018 at 8 p.m. in the Kennedy Center Concert Hall. Rolling Stone called Pet Sounds: 50th Anniversary Tour one of the “greatest” tours of 2017. Since launching the tour in 2016, in celebration of the Beach Boy’s landmark Pet Sounds album, the tour has traveled to more than 24 countries across 180 performances.

Original bandmate Al Jardine, guitarist Blondie Chaplin, and a 10-piece orchestra, accompany Wilson as he leads the concert with classics like “Don’t Worry Baby” and digs into lesser known compositions like “Feel Flow” and “Salt Lake City” plus other Beach Boys hits.
