MATTHEW HELSEY, U.S. ARMY CAPTAIN
Matthew and his his wife Corrie were flown to Westbury, NY to see Brian perform on November 25, 2008. Matt is a 25-year-old Army Captain who leaves for a tour of duty in Afghanistan on December 1. Brian wore Captain Matt's pilot wings on his shirt during the show. Matt is a Blackhawk Helicopter Pilot who graduated from West Point. Brian gave Matt his "stage worn shirt" after the show. LOCAL PRIZE WINNERS:
Congratulations to the Local Winners of "That Lucky Old Fan" contest. Our eleven lucky winners and a guest will receive two tickets and backstage passes to the show of their choice. Winners will see Brian and his band perform That Lucky Old Sun live and to meet Brian and his band. Brian will also sign a copy of his new CD, That Lucky Old Sun. In addition, winners will each receive 10 backstage passes for friends already attending the show.
Brian had this to say to his fans: "Thank you to all my fans who wrote letters wanting to see me on my upcoming tour dates.
